WorldPay P400 integration with TDO

Note: Worldpay Integrations need to be scheduled with the TDO Support Team

Overview:

Since WorldPay is phasing out the VX805 pin pads, the P400 offers a seamless integration with TDO. This feature is available in TDO 12.338 or newer. This article details how to set up an office’s WorldPay integration with a P400 pin pads.

 

Requirement

This feature is available in TDO 12.379 or newer

 

If you are in version 12.355x or 12.373g, there are extra starting steps:

  • Download the P400.zip file from TDO4endo.com and place it in your TDOBuilds folder

  • unzip the file.

  • copy the unzipped files to TDOffice\dotnet

  • Do this on the server and any other computers that have a pin pad attached to it

 

Steps

Please follow the instructions below to start the integration

  • Download SetupWorldPayP400.exe from TDO4endo.com website and place the file in TDO Builds folder on user’s server, or contact support for help.

  • There will be two installations of SetupWorldPayP400.exe, one on the user’s server which it will be the director’s installation, and the other one on the computer used to process payments.

Server Installation

 

  • Run SetupWorldPayP400.exe.

  • A popup may be displayed asking to connect Pin Pad to Computer. Since you are installing it on the server, there is no need of having the pin pad connected. Just simply click ok to the popup message.

On “WorldPay installation Type” window select Server Computer P400 then click OK.

You’ll get three installers also running: dsiEMVUS 1.46, dsiPDCX Version 1.69, and NETePay Director and Manager 5.07.30. Note: there is no need to reboot the computer.

After NETePay Director and Manager 5.07.30 is installed, the software activation is requested. Click on Obtain Serial Number button.

Under “Collect Merchant Information”, select “I have my deployment ID”.

  • Enter the ‘Deployment ID” given by WorldPay, then click Next

  • Verify the address marches with the practice address, then click Finish.

Make sure to add the NetePayManager to the startup items folder on the server:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp

 

Note: If you are replacing a server, you will get a popup message saying “There is currently activated software processing under this deployment. Continuing will result in that Software Being Deactivated. Are you sure?” just click Yes to deactivate the deployment ID from the old server to activate it in the new one.

Workstation Installation

  • Connect the pin pad on the computer.

  • Run SetupWorldPayP400.exe.

  • A popup may be displayed asking to connect Pin Pad to Computer. Since you are installing it on the server, there is no need of having the pin pad connected. Just simply click ok to the popup message.

On “WorldPay installation Type” window select Workstation Computer P400 then click OK.

You’ll get two installers also running: dsiEMVUS 1.46, and dsiPDCX Version 1.69. Note: there is no need to reboot the computer.

 

  • Launch TDO and log on.

  • Go to Setup>Site Configuration>Edit Control Table>”Network Settings” tab.

  • On MPS Main Server area please enter in the following information:

    • MPS Main Server: x1.mercurypay.com.

    • EMV Server: enter the server IP number following 9000. For example: 192.168.XXX.XX;9000

  • While still in Edit Control Table, now click on “Workstation Settings” tab.

  • Under Credit Card Settings, enter in the following information:

    • Credit Card Company: Worldpay

    • Connection Method: USB

    • Com Port: check the device manager on the computer to verify the port assigned to the pin pad.

    • Pin Pad Type: VERIFONEP400_MERCURY_E2E

    • EMV Pin Pad Type: EMV_P400_MERCURY

Please click the "EMV Param Download" - an Error of NAK will appear, we can ignore it. This initializes the communication to the server before testing the pin pad. 

  • Go to Setup>Site Configuration>Edit Doctor Information.

  • Enter in the Merchant ID in “Credit Card Pmt Merchant ID” field. Note: Users may also enter the Merchant ID in ‘Doctor Location Setup” if eRx is enabled, and/or if Ecommerce is setup.

  • Verify the staff’s user login has the proper permissions to process Credit Card payments. To verify please go to Site Configuration>Add / Edit Usernames and Passwords.

Note: SetupWorldPayP400.exe on as many computers as needed to process payments, however, users will need a pin pad device for each computer. Please contact WorldPay for additional pin pads purchases.
