[v12] - Updating TDO's drugs database

Overview

The drugs database within TDO has been updated and is in sync with Lexicomp's drugs database. The update will require the SetupDrugs file to be manually ran on the TDO Server.

Note: If your practice is using TDO version 11, you will need to update to version 12 first. TDO can do the update for your practice. Please contact us at support@tdo4endo.com or 858-558-3696 for inquiries.

 

Instructions

Note: The SetupDrugs file must be ran on the TDO server and will only need to be ran once. It will automatically apply to the client workstations. It will require a server reboot, so make sure everyone is logged out of TDO until the server finishes rebooting. Please run a TDO autofix on the workstations after the file finishes installing on the server.

  1. Log into the TDO website, which is https://tdoer.tdo4endo.com/signin.aspx
    1. Use the Reset Password feature if you've forgotten your password

  2. Click on the downloads tab in the menu to the left
  3. Navigate down until you see Direct Download - TDO Professional v12 and click on SetupDrugs.exe to download the file
  4. To verify the version, right click the SetupDrugs file then select properties. Go to the Details tab. The File Version should be 2022.4488.0.0

  5. It is highly suggested to run a data only backup before running the file


  6. Double-click SetupDrugs to run the update . You will only need to run it once on the server and it will automatically apply to the workstations. The window automatically disappears upon completion
    1. If the Windows Protection notice comes up, click on "More Info" then click "Run anyway"
  7. You are now finished updating the drugs database. On the workstations, please have your users run a TDO Autofix by going to the Windows start menu, search "TDO", then click Yes to continue
