Dexis - configuration

Overview

Dexis can be launched through TDO using an automation process.

Detailed Instructions

Open the Edit Control Table from the Administrative menu.

Click the Workstation Settings tab

Under Radiography Software, select Dexis

For the Radiography path change the path to the local installation of Dexis or Dexis 10.855, and is C:\Dexis\

C:\Dexis - Dexis will not integrate if installed anywhere else, it needs to be C:\Dexis

Close the Control Table

To Test

Open Acquire tab, click X-Ray which will launch Dexis outside of TDO.

Acquire your x-ray as you normally would in Dexis.

When the X-ray is up on screen you are able to copy it to your clipboard by hitting Ctrl + C on your keyboard

Go back to the Acquire tab and click the Paste button which will paste the X-ray into TDO.

Then, choose the proper images category and click the Save button.

This has been tested and verified to work in version 9.3.0 of the Dexis software but may not work in more recent versions of Dexis. Also, as a note, Dexis must first be installed and working on the computer before you can configure in TDO.
