Alternate Solution for Older Version of TDO

With older version of TDO, open the registry and browse to the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\FilesPath

Delete the mso.dll value.

In some cases this has been found to resolve the issue and TDO opens properly without uninstalling anything.

In newer versions of TDO, this is being done automatically.
