Infograbber Location

Overview

For technical reasons the location of the Infograbber executable file is now moved to DotNet folder. So when updating TDO, especially from TDO Version 11, please follow the steps below to update the Infograbber Icon on the computer’s desktop.

Detailed Steps

• Update TDO on the workstation as you normally would.
  
  
• If TDO Infograbber icon is still on the desktop, right-click on it and select Delete to remove icon.
  
  
• Click on the Start Button on the computer desktop.
  
  
• On “Search programs and files” field type in Infograbber.

• Click and drag the Infograbber option under Programs to the Desktop

• The Infograbber icon will now show on the desktop.

• To verify the path is the correct one, right-click on the Inforgabber icon on the desktop, then select Properties.
  
  
• The correct path will show on “Target” field: "C:\Program Files (x86)\TDOffice\DotNet\TDO.Utility.InfoGrabber.exe"

• Another Method

• If TDO Infograbber icon is still on the desktop, right-click on it and select ‘Delete’ to remove icon.
  
  
• Go to C:\Program Files\TDOffice\DotNet ( if computer is 32 bit) or C:\Program Files (x86)\TDOffice\DotNet (if computer is 64-bit).
  
  
• Right-Click on TDO.Utility.Infograbber, select Send To, then click on Desktop (Create Shortcut).

• A shortcut will be created on the Desktop

• To rename the Infograbber icon, just right-click on the icon then click on Rename.
  
  
• Give the icon a new name such as Infograbber or TDO Infograbber

• To change the Infograbber icon, right-click on the icon then select Properties.
  
  
• Click on Change Icon button.

• “Change Icon” window will open. Click on Browse button.

• Go to C:\Program Files\TDOffice  or C:\Program Files (x86)\TDOffice and select the “TDO.ico”.

• Click on Open.

• The preview of the new icon will show in “Change Icon” window.

• Click on OK for the change to take effect.
  
  
• Click OK to apply the changes.

• The Infograbber Icon will now have the new image.
