eRx (MDToolbox) - sending medications to a mail order pharmacy

Listed below are the instructions on how to use TDO eRx to prescribe a medication to a mail-order pharmacy.

Detailed Instructions

• Open the eRx Module thru TDO
• Click on the Pharmacy link

• On the submenu, make sure the “Mail Order” box is checked.

• Once Mail Order searching is enabled, simply type the pharmacy name, and the search will pop right away.

Amazon Prescription Services

Providers can send prescriptions to Amazon Pharmacy through MDToolbox within TDO. Since the Amazon pharmacy is a mail-order pharmacy, all scripts get sent to Amazon's main pharmacy hub and distributed according to the patient's closest pharmacy.

When searching for the Amazon pharmacy via mail order, there is no need to enter a zip code or city information; simply type in "Amazon" in the pharmacy name to find the pharmacy.
