Patch for Windows Update KB5094126 issues

On June 9, 2026, Windows Update KB5094126 was introduced and caused TDO to not be able to open the Image Organizer or load Letters module tokens. A fix for this issue is available to download and apply from our website.

HOW TO APPLY THE PATCH:

Please follow these steps on each affected workstation:

Log in to tdo4endo.com
Navigate to the Download TDO section
Download the 'Windows Update Patch for KB5094126'
Run it on each affected workstation

Please note this will need to be completed on every workstation experiencing the issue.

This conflict is not isolated to TDO. Other software vendors have been impacted, as the update affected Microsoft COM/interop libraries that many applications rely on. Please remember that keeping Windows up to date is the responsibility of each office and its IT provider. The vast majority of Windows updates install without any issues and are an essential part of keeping your systems secure. However, on rare occasions, a Microsoft update may create a conflict with third-party software. When that happens, it is the responsibility of your IT technician to address it, just as they would with any other system-level issue.
